He works in the Oldham Naidoo Lawyers litigation team, acting predominantly in building and construction disputes. His clients include builders (domestic and commercial), subcontractors, architects, and property owners. Tim also has experience in broader commercial disputes.
Tim swiftly identifies the core issues in all disputes, and takes pragmatic steps towards obtaining the strongest outcomes for his clients.
In addition to drafting key legal documents, Tim provides robust advocacy at mediations and frequently obtains excellent commercial results. He has been the instructing solicitor in significant hearings in VCAT including Mardel Constructions Pty Ltd v Sinha (Domestic Building)  VCAT 1532, Bellcon Developments Pty Ltd v Triantafyllou (Domestic Building)  VCAT 133 and leading decisions under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act including leading decision of A & M Wilson Building Contractors Pty Ltd v Lavander Pty Ltd  VCC 1504 and Bold Vision Laser Plumbing (2013) in the Supreme Court of Tasmania.
Prior to working as solicitor, Tim was a legal adviser for the Housing Industry Association, focusing on domestic building disputes and occupational health and safety. Tim has presented seminars and training to building professionals (including Certificate IV training to candidates seeking domestic building registration) on subjects including building contracts, industrial relations and workplace safety.
Tim is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Building Dispute Practitioners Society, the Master Builder’s Association of Victoria and the Housing Industry Association.
